Studio 2000 Art Gallery is one of the leading galleries dealing in Dutch and Belgian art. The gallery specializes in the works of Jan Toorop and contemporaries and built a pre-eminent position in the world of modern Dutch and Belgian paintings from the early 20th century.
Howard Myers established his gallery in Amsterdam in 1985. He moved it to the actual location in the picturesque town of Blaricum in 2001 at which time his son Jeroen and daughter Daarinde joined the family business.
Ever since 1993 Studio 2000 published a widely appreciated, quarterly magazine with articles about its art collection.
The gallery published several books on artists such as Jan Toorop and always maintained a close relationship with museums and historical art institutions to ensure the highest possible quality for its clients.



Studio throughout the years 2000 organized highly appreciated exhibitions for artists like Jan Sluijters, Leo Gestel, Jan Toorop, Tinus van Doorn and Isaac Israels, all accompanied by publications.
In our exhibition we seek for:
– painting and works on paper with a rather special or particular theme
– works of art that are important within the oeuvre of the artist
– all works should have come on the market recently
Studio 2000 participated in The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) in Maastricht since 1989 duringwhich a close relationship was built and maintained with collectors and art museums around the world. The gallery sold important paintings and drawings to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Dordrecht Museum, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston
